Low noise brown parcel tape, 48mm wide by 66 metres. It's made to grip the cardboard rather than curl back onto itself, so whether you're sealing boxes for moving day or taping them shut before they go into storage, the bottom seam stays closed. Works with any standard tape gun dispenser, or by hand if you don't have one.

Tape That Grips the Box, Not Just Itself

Cheap tape has a habit of curling straight back onto itself the moment you pull a strip off the roll. It tangles, it never quite takes to the cardboard, and it lifts away at the one place a box needs it most, the bottom seam.

This is low noise brown parcel tape, 48mm x 66m. It sticks to the box and stays there.

Low noise means what it sounds like. Pull it off the roll and you get a quiet, even tear rather than the screech standard packing tape gives you when you’re working through a stack of boxes.

How to Tape a Box So the Bottom Doesn’t Fall Out

It’s worth taping a box properly rather than running one strip across the middle. Tape along the centre seam first, then add a strip across each side seam, so you end up with an H shape across the base. If the box is carrying anything heavy, do the same on top once it’s packed. It takes a few extra seconds, and it’s the difference between a box that holds and one that splits halfway up the stairs.

If You’re Storing as Well as Moving

If some of what you’re taping up is heading into storage rather than straight to a new address, that’s what we do too. We collect it, look after it, and bring it back when you’re ready. Get an instant quote to see what that would cost alongside your move.

Delivery

Order before 1pm, Monday to Friday, and it arrives the next working day.

FAQ

Will this tape actually stick to cardboard?

Yes. A lot of cheap parcel tape sticks to itself better than it sticks to a box, which is the wrong way round. This one grips the cardboard.

How many rolls will I need?

It depends on how many boxes you’re sealing and how thoroughly you tape each one. If you’re ordering boxes at the same time, add a couple of extra rolls rather than running short halfway through packing.

Does it work with a tape gun, or do I need to tear it by hand?

Both. It’s sized to fit a standard tape gun dispenser, and it tears cleanly enough to use straight off the roll by hand.

Printed warning tape in two designs, Fragile and Glass Handle With Care, bold red text on white tape, 50mm x 66m. Run it across any box that needs gentler handling, whether it's going straight to your new place or into storage for a while.

Two Designs, So You Can Be Specific

Fragile is the one for anything that could crack, dent or give way under the weight of the boxes stacked on top of it. Glass Handle With Care is for crockery, glassware, mirrors and picture frames, where a breakage leaves you sweeping the floor as well as replacing something. Both are bold red text on white tape, 50mm wide and 66m to a roll, so they’re easy to spot whether you’re stacking the boxes yourself or handing them to someone else.

Tape for Warning, Not for Sealing

This tape flags a box. It won’t hold one together. Run a strip or two across the top and down the sides where the flaps meet, then use ordinary packing tape underneath to do the sealing. That way whoever picks the box up next knows to go easy on it before they’ve even opened it.

If You’re Storing as Well as Moving

If some of what you’re wrapping in fragile tape is heading into storage rather than straight to a new address, that’s what we do too. We collect it, look after it, and bring it back when you’re ready. Get an instant quote to see what that would cost alongside your move.

Delivery

Order before 1pm, Monday to Friday, and it arrives the next working day.

FAQ

Does this tape hold the box closed, or is it just a label?

It’s a warning label. Ordinary packing tape does the sealing, and the fragile tape catches the eye of whoever’s carrying or stacking the box.

How far does one roll go?

Further than you’d expect. Most boxes only need a strip or two across the top and down the side seams, so a single 66m roll is enough to flag every fragile and glass box in a typical house move.
