It helps if the smaller things are boxed and sealed when we arrive, and we can drop off packing materials beforehand if that's useful. The bulky and awkward items are ours to deal with, though. Parking and Collections in Fulham

Fulham throws up two parking quirks that are worth knowing about, but these are for us to worry about, not you. Most of SW6 sits within Controlled Parking Zones, and the narrow terraced streets around Parsons Green, Walham Green and Fulham Broadway can be tight on kerb space even outside controlled hours. On top of that, both of the area’s football grounds are inside the postcode. Stamford Bridge, home to Chelsea, and Craven Cottage, home to Fulham, each draw big crowds on match days, when nearby roads get busy and controls tighten. Around Stamford Bridge, Chelsea’s match-day parking zones now run from 8.30am to 10pm, with stretches of Fulham Road closing for a while before kick-off, and Hammersmith and Fulham runs its own match-day controls around Craven Cottage.

A tight terraced street or a match-day crowd rarely holds up a collection. We turn up in a compact van rather than a removal lorry, so we can usually slot into the same sort of kerb space a regular car would use, even where space is tight. If you know there’s a fixture on the day you want, or your street has anything unusual about access, just say so when you book and we’ll work the timing and approach around it. We can’t promise a particular slot on a busy match day, but flagging it early gives us the best chance of keeping things smooth.
