Introduction

For the purpose of this policy statement the term Modern Slavery includes: slavery, forced or coerced labour, human trafficking, and child labour. JamStorage is a trading name of Way Moving Group Limited.

 

Supply chain

JamStorage operates out of a number of locations around the United Kingdom. For services provided within the United Kingdom, we use our own staff and a network of approved partners and sub-contractors. Where the services are provided abroad our supply chain consists of established reputable shipping lines and air cargo specialist, approved sub-contractors and agents.

 

Our policy

JamStorage are committed to ensuring that there is no Modern Slavery or scope for Modern Slavery in our supply chain or in any part or at any level of our business. We will not knowingly use partners, sub-contractors, suppliers or agents who disregard Modern Slavery or turn a blind eye to the evil of Modern Slavery.

 

Compliance

We expect our employees, partners, sub-contracts and agents to act ethically and to promote good working practices at all levels and to accept without reservation the terms and the spirit of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and to follow through with the expectations of our policy to the letter.

We have systems in place to:

  • Identify and assess the potential risk areas within our supply chain;
  • Educate and inform those within our supply chain as to our expectations in regard to eliminating the risk of Modern Slavery within our supply chain.
  • Monitor our partners, sub-contractors, suppliers and agents;
  • Monitor the potential risks in the supply chain
  • Protect whistle blowers

This policy statement has been approved and endorsed by all the directors of JamStorage.

Belated review, but I wanted to acknowledge the professional help I received from JamVans with moving out, storage, and delivery earlier this year. Special thanks to Micheal W and Louise. They were very professional from the start, made me feel well taken care of, and answered all the questions I had. On the moving day, only one lift was working in the building and they worked tirelessly to collect all the items from the 15th floor. They also helped with disassembling the standing desks which seems little but it saved me a lot of time. I hope to meet them again when I move out (again) later this month. On that note, I would also like to thank Jake Arrowsmith-Watts for his help over the phone, patiently answering all my questions, and for his kindness throughout. All in all, 5 stars and i will be using their service again soon.

I recently booked Jamvans to help remove my items and put them into a storage as I had an urgent move while my next home is not yet secured. The team at Jamvans has been very responsive and it was very easy to go through the booking process. The crew that arrived to take my items was also very nice to deal with and they were careful with my possessions. Overall I have had a good experience with Jamvans. Will update after I receive my items back in a few weeks!

Jake was so brilliant at sorting out my last minute storage request. Together with Aaron and Robbie they have redirected their route and arranged for collection of my items within just a few hours from my request which absolutely saved my day! Don’t know what I would’ve done without them. They did all that while also providing excellent communication throughout, being professional and super friendly! Thank you thank you thank you!!! 100 stars!
