File Away Archive Box with Lid
£5.00
Description
A Cardboard Box With a Lid That Closes Itself
The lid is part of the box, not a separate flap you have to tape down. Fold it shut and it stays shut, so you get a proper cardboard box with a lid rather than one held together on faith and a strip of tape. It’s sturdy, and there are carry handles on both sides so it’s easy to lift once it’s full. At 406 x 331 x 318mm, it’s sized for filing and paperwork rather than a full room’s worth of belongings.
Made for Filing, Paperwork and Long Term Storage
Files, folders and paperwork are what this box is built for. If you’re clearing an office, packing up a home study, or shifting boxes of documents from one address to another, this is the size and shape for the job. Paperwork is denser than it looks, so a box this size keeps each load to something you can actually carry.
Label It and Track It
There’s a pre-printed area for a label, plus space for a barcode, so you can mark up what’s inside without hunting for a pen and a clear patch of cardboard. That matters more with paperwork than with most things. One box of old files looks a lot like another once the lid’s down, so label it when you pack it and you’ll know what’s coming back before you open it.

FAQ
Does the lid need tape to stay shut?
No. The lid is built into the box, so it folds down and stays put on its own. If a box is heading into storage for a while, a strip of tape over the top gives you a bit more peace of mind, but you won’t need it day to day.
Can I stack these boxes once they’re full?
Yes. Once the lid’s down you’ve got a flat, stable top to stack on. Files and paperwork are heavier than people expect though, so keep an eye on how high you go rather than building a tower.
Is this the right box for a full office move, or just document storage?
Both. It’s sized for filing and paperwork rather than bulky items, so it works for a document archive, a house move that includes a home office, or a business clearing its records into storage.
