This is the wider of our two bubble wrap rolls, 750mm across and 25 metres long. It’s the one to reach for when a narrower roll would only half cover what you’re wrapping: a chest of drawers, a mirror, a table top, a lampshade, a picture frame. Wrap once round and the item is usually covered, instead of taping several strips together to get there.

If you’re only wrapping a few small fragile bits for a couple of boxes, our 500mm roll will do the job and costs less. This one is for a full house move or a bigger pack into storage, where there’s furniture and awkward shapes to deal with as well as the boxed up smaller stuff.

Wrap, Tape and a Decent Box

Bubble wrap on its own only gets you so far. What keeps things in one piece is the combination: a decent box, tape that actually holds, and something wrapped round anything fragile or awkwardly shaped. Wrap the furniture and mirrors properly, tape the wrap down so it can’t slide off on the way, then pack your boxes so nothing rattles about inside. Get those right and your things travel well.

Green Bio Material

This roll is made from the same green bio material as our 500mm bubble wrap. It’s fully recyclable with recycled content built in, so it’s a better option than standard plastic wrap if you’d rather not add to the pile of packaging a move leaves behind. It protects your things the same way an ordinary roll does, it just recycles more easily once you’re finished with it.

Is this the same bubble wrap as your 500mm roll?

Yes, same green bio material. This one is wider (750mm against 500mm) and comes on a longer roll (25m against 10m), so it suits furniture and bigger items rather than smaller boxed belongings.

How much bubble wrap do I actually need?

It depends on what you’re wrapping. A roll goes further on furniture and flat items than it does on lots of small awkward shapes, because you’re covering fewer, larger surfaces instead of working round corners over and over. If you’ve got several pieces of furniture as well as fragile bits for boxes, it’s worth having both roll widths to hand.

Will this roll cover a mirror or a table top in one go?

For most standard sizes, yes. The 750mm width is wide enough to wrap round in one or two passes rather than needing several strips taped together. For anything unusually large, you may still need to join two lengths.
