Single Mattress Cover

Do You Actually Need a Mattress Cover?

A mattress rarely gets an easy ride. It spends a move propped against a wall, leant on the side of a van, or laid flat with other things stacked on top of it, and it’s bare the whole time. A cover keeps dust out of the fabric, soil off the surface, and damp away from it if it ends up somewhere that isn’t quite dry. None of that shows up on the day. It shows up when you unroll the mattress at the other end and find marks that a wash won’t shift.

It’s a small, inexpensive step for something you’re going to sleep on again, and it’s a lot easier to slip on before the move than to explain away afterwards.

Sized for a Single Mattress

This one measures 1.3 x 2.1m. If you’re covering a double, a super king or an armchair, those come as their own covers, because a single won’t stretch to fit. Worth checking the size against your mattress before you order so it goes on properly and stays on.

Built to Last the Journey

It’s made from durable recyclable packaging material, so it goes the distance rather than splitting the first time it’s pulled over a corner.

If You’re Storing as Well as Moving

If your mattress is heading into storage rather than straight to a new address, that’s what we do. We collect it, look after it, and bring it back when you’re ready. Get an instant quote to see what that would cost alongside your move.

Delivery

Order before 1pm, Monday to Friday, and it’ll be with you the next working day.

FAQ

Do I really need a mattress cover, or can I skip it?

You can skip it, but then you’re relying on nothing else touching the mattress on the way, which is rarely how a move or a stint in storage goes. A cover is an affordable way to rule out dust, soil and damp instead of hoping for the best.

What size mattress is this cover for?

This one is sized for a single mattress at 1.3 x 2.1m. If you need to cover a double, a super king or an armchair, those come as separate covers sized for that item.
