Parking and Collections in Bermondsey
Bermondsey has some of central London’s most restricted streets, and we know them well. Shad Thames is a narrow, cobbled lane with controlled parking in force throughout the day. Jamaica Road, the A200, has double yellow lines along much of its length and time-limited loading bays. The riverside strip between the Thames and the Jamaica Road railway line, which takes in Shad Thames and the Butler’s Wharf conversions, sits within Southwark’s controlled parking zone G, and that zone runs Monday to Sunday, 8:30am to 11pm. Permit zones operate across much of the wider area too.

Belated review, but I wanted to acknowledge the professional help I received from JamVans with moving out, storage, and delivery earlier this year. Special thanks to Micheal W and Louise. They were very professional from the start, made me feel well taken care of, and answered all the questions I had. On the moving day, only one lift was working in the building and they worked tirelessly to collect all the items from the 15th floor. They also helped with disassembling the standing desks which seems little but it saved me a lot of time. I hope to meet them again when I move out (again) later this month. On that note, I would also like to thank Jake Arrowsmith-Watts for his help over the phone, patiently answering all my questions, and for his kindness throughout.
