Crystal Palace Storage
Storage in Crystal Palace, collected from your door.
We collect your belongings from your door in Crystal Palace, look after them, and bring them back when you ask. No van to hire, no removals firm to book, nothing heavy for you to carry. Crystal Palace is built on a hill, in tall Victorian houses that have mostly been divided up, and the result is a lot of homes with high ceilings and nowhere to put anything. We cover SE19, from the Triangle at the top down through Anerley Hill and Church Road.
No van hire. No heavy lifting. No hassle.

The Modern Way to Store
We’re not your typical self storage company, and that’s exactly the point
JamStorage offers a self store to your door approach. We are usually 50% cheaper than normal self storage companies and a lot easier to deal with.
Storage in Crystal Palace
JamStorage is a collection and delivery storage service covering Crystal Palace and the SE19 postcode. We collect your belongings from your door, store them in secure, sealed Jam Pods, and return them whenever you ask. You never need to visit us, and you don’t lift or carry anything yourself.
Crystal Palace grew up around an exhibition hall that burned down ninety years ago, and the housing built for that era is still what you find here: large late-Victorian villas on steep streets, built for households with staff and now almost all converted into flats and maisonettes. Rightmove puts the average price across SE19 at £491,033.
A converted villa gives you generous rooms and very little useful storage. The cellar usually went to the ground floor flat, the loft to the top one, and the middle of the house got neither. High ceilings make a room feel roomy while giving you no more floor to stand things on, and a bay-windowed front room turns out to have almost no wall you can put a cupboard against.
Crystal Palace also has an unusually mixed set of reasons for calling us. There are long-standing owners in the villas doing a renovation, families in the flats who have simply outgrown them, and a steady turnover of renters drawn by the Triangle.
We collect right across SE19. That means the Triangle where Westow Hill, Westow Street and Church Road meet, Anerley Hill down to the station, Crystal Palace Parade and Crystal Palace Park Road, Fox Hill and Belvedere Road, and the streets of Upper Norwood behind them. Crystal Palace is one part of what we cover across the borough, so if you’re just outside SE19, our Bromley storage page picks up the rest.

Parking and Collections in Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace has a parking situation that exists nowhere else in London, and it is worth understanding before you book anything. Five London boroughs meet here. The boundaries between Bromley, Croydon, Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark converge on this one hilltop, and they were still being tidied up as recently as the 1990s: the statutory order that redrew them is titled for all five boroughs and describes “the South London area known as Crystal Palace”, naming Fox Hill, Belvedere Road, Crystal Palace Parade, Church Road and Crystal Palace Park Road among the stretches it moved.
In practice that means the parking rules can change as you cross the road. Two houses facing each other on the same street can sit in different boroughs, with different restrictions, different hours and different enforcement. It is the one place we cover where “what are the parking rules here” genuinely has more than one answer.
Bromley, the borough Crystal Palace sits in for our purposes, does not publish its zone hours as a list at all. So rather than quote hours we cannot stand behind, the honest answer is that the sign on your side of your road is the one that applies, and it may not match the one opposite.
The hill is the other consideration. Anerley Hill and the roads climbing to the Triangle are steep, the Victorian streets are narrow with cars both sides, and a converted villa often means three floors and a shared staircase. Our team arrives in a smaller van rather than a full-size removals lorry, which makes a real difference on a gradient with parked cars.
Most Crystal Palace collections are straightforward. It’s closer to a supermarket delivery than a house move. Tell us when you book which floor you’re on, whether the street is a hill, and whether there’s a shared entrance, and we’ll plan around it rather than work it out on the doorstep.
