Canary Wharf Storage
Storage in Canary Wharf, collected from your door.
We collect your belongings from your door in Canary Wharf, look after them, and bring them back when you ask. No van to hire, no removals firm to book, nothing heavy for you to carry. Almost everyone here lives in a flat in a managed block, which means storage is rarely about a spare room and almost always about a cupboard that was never big enough. We collect from offices here as well as homes. We cover E14, from South Quay and Marsh Wall down through Millwall to Manchester Road, and north to Poplar.
No van hire. No heavy lifting. No hassle.

The Modern Way to Store
We’re not your typical self storage company, and that’s exactly the point
JamStorage offers a self store to your door approach. We are usually 50% cheaper than normal self storage companies and a lot easier to deal with.
Storage in Canary Wharf
JamStorage is a collection and delivery storage service covering Canary Wharf and the E14 postcode. We collect your belongings from your door, store them in secure, sealed Jam Pods, and return them whenever you ask. You never need to visit us, and you don’t lift or carry anything yourself.
Canary Wharf is the most vertical part of London, and it changes what storage is for. There is very little here that was built before the 1980s and almost nothing with a loft, a cellar or a garage. Rightmove puts the average flat in E14 at £480,366, and it changes regularly. Whichever way the market moves, the floor plan does not: a two-bedroom flat on the twentieth floor has the storage the architect drew and not a cubic foot more.
The peninsula is also still being built. Wood Wharf, the newer residential quarter on the eastern side of the estate, is occupied and still going up, which means a steady stream of people moving in, moving between blocks, and living in one flat while the one they actually want is finished.
Who lives here is younger and moves more often than almost anywhere else we cover. A lot of our Canary Wharf work is a tenancy ending before the next one starts, a secondment abroad, or a couple moving in together and discovering they own two of everything. Alongside that there are the long-term owners in the older Millwall and Isle of Dogs blocks who simply want the winter things and the spare furniture out of the way.
Canary Wharf is also somewhere people work, and that changes what we get asked for. A good share of our E14 collections come out of offices rather than flats: archive boxes and files that have to be kept but are rarely opened, desks and chairs left over when a floor is reconfigured, display and event materials that come out twice a year. It works exactly the same way as a home collection. We come to the office, do the carrying, log everything, and bring it back when you ask. It suits the things a business needs to keep but rarely needs to reach, rather than anything the team wants to get at week by week.
We collect right across E14. That means South Quay and Marsh Wall, Wood Wharf, Westferry Road and the Millwall waterfront, Manchester Road and the loop around the southern tip of the Isle of Dogs, Preston’s Road and Blackwall, and Poplar around Chrisp Street. Canary Wharf is one part of what we cover across the borough, so if you’re just outside E14, our Tower Hamlets storage page picks up the rest.

Parking and Collections in Canary Wharf
In most of London the question is where the van can stop. In Canary Wharf the street is usually the easy part, and the building is the part worth thinking about. Most homes here sit in managed blocks with a service entrance, a loading bay and a goods lift, rather than a front door opening onto the pavement. Plenty of buildings ask residents to book the lift or the bay in advance for a delivery or a move.
If your building has a concierge, a booking sheet or a rule about which lift can be used, tell us when you book and we will work to it.
On the public streets, parking hours are worth checking rather than assuming, because Tower Hamlets varies them by zone and some run into Saturday. The council lists zone B1 and the Chrisp Street area of B3 as “Monday to Saturday, 8.30am to 5.30pm”, while B2 and the rest of B3 run “Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm”. Around Chrisp Street there is a market as well, running Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm. The council does not publish a plain list of which street falls in which zone, so the sign at the entrance to the road is the one to go by.
The other thing to know is that the Isle of Dogs is a peninsula with a small number of ways in and out, so a collection is easier away from the morning and evening peaks. Our team arrives in a smaller van rather than a full-size removals lorry, which helps in a basement car park with a height barrier.
Most Canary Wharf collections are straightforward. It’s closer to a supermarket delivery than a house move. Tell us the floor, the lift arrangements and anything your building expects us to book, and we’ll plan around it rather than work it out on the doorstep.
