No. Boxing up smaller belongings before we arrive helps, but nothing needs to be perfect. We bring the van, do the loading, and carry everything out for you. Furniture and larger items you can leave to us entirely. If you’re not sure where to start, just ask when you book.

Yes. You don’t need the whole lot back to get at one box or one piece of furniture. We complete an inventory when we collect, so you can request that box back, or that chest of drawers, or that mattress, and we’ll deliver it to your door in Peckham. What comes back is whatever we collected, so we don’t open boxes up to pull a single item out of them. Packing into several smaller labelled boxes instead of a few big ones gives you more control over what comes home.

Yes. When you want your belongings back, we can return them to a different address from the one we collected from. That suits people who’ve moved in the meantime, or who are storing while a sale goes through. Just give us the new address when you arrange the return.

Pack into sturdy, uniform boxes wherever you can. Boxes of the same size stack neatly and take the weight of the ones above them, so you can build upwards and use the full height of your space rather than just the floor. Bags and holdalls do the opposite. They slump, lose their shape under anything heavy and won’t stack safely, so you end up with gaps and wasted room. Good boxes also keep what’s inside protected and easier to get to later. It’s worth using several smaller, labelled boxes rather than a few big ones, because when you ask for something back you’ll get the whole box. If you’d rather not pack yourself, we can bring materials on collection day and help you get sorted, and you only pay for what we use.

Yes. Flats carved out of period terraces, and flats reached by a side door and a steep staircase off a shopping street, are the normal collection in SE15. Our team is used to communal front doors, half-landings, tight turns at the top of the stairs and no lift. What helps is knowing in advance. When you book, tell us the floor you’re on, whether there’s an entry code or a shared hallway, and whether anything bulky such as a chest of drawers or an armchair needs to come down. The carrying is our job, not yours.

The same way we handle them anywhere in London, by planning ahead rather than improvising. Peckham sits under several controlled parking zones with different hours, and the town centre adds its own timed loading restrictions on Rye Lane. Tell us your street and the nearest place a van can realistically stop when you book, and we’ll work the timing around it. We can’t promise a space directly outside your door, but knowing the constraint in advance is what keeps collection day simple.
